Back bracing or spinal bracing are devices that are applied to the trunk and are used to stabilize the spine and or reduce pain. Some designs extend from the upper chest down toward the pelvis, while others are shorter and extend from the rib cage to the pelvis. We offer full custom-made handcrafted designs to “off the shelf” (OTS) devices, which are sourced from various suppliers. Many OTS devices on the market today offer easier application and deliver a high level of support without being too complex or bulky. Many of our patients are utilizing back bracing due to arthritis, trauma, disc herniation, or kyphosis.
